I'm Emily (She/Her), I'm a self-taught and proactive Junior Product Designer based in Sydney🇦🇺 who has only been in the industry for just under a year, and am absolutely eager for more. I have just recently completed a degree in Information Systems where I learnt about Agile methods and project management.

How I got started in product design
There is nothing that frustrates me more than an inefficient process that can be done in half the time. I love to organise and solve for ways to make my life easier. Coupling that with my love for creativity and drawing, I stumbled across product design which had a perfect blend of both worlds. I haven't looked back since.
What I've been working on
Currently I'm working to expand my skills in front-end development. In my Information Systems degree, my favourite subjects were always the ones which involved some form of programming language. Why did I love it? Because apart from designing something, I was actually about to build and bring it to life. I want to learn more in this space to also become a better designer.
What I'm curious about
Humans. A wise person once said that humans are the most addictive things in the world, and I could not agree more. This curiosity of mine leads me to listen to lots of podcasts about human nature. One day I hope to start my own.
